Winching Basics - Indoor Class

This one-day course is designed to introduce students to safely winching vehicles in recovery situations. We start with the basics and work up to hands-on rigging of winches using our gear. This class occurs completely indoors so that we can do all instruction without worry of inclement weather. Learn all about winches while wearing T-shirts in winter! All gear is provided by the trainers so this is a great opportunity to "try before you buy" with regard to the different equipment applicable to your environment and vehicle. If you have gear already, feel free to bring it to the class and as long as it is safe, we can use it for the demonstrations. Our instructors have many years of experience in 4wd driving, recovery, and instruction to assist with any questions you might have regarding the techniques and gear you will need for your adventures. To add peace of mind, we also have an on-site AED and all of our instructors are Wilderness First Aid certified.
