"Had a great time. The instruction was top notch. I learned so much as far as technique and capability of my vehicle. Highly recommend." - Chris F., 101/102 Student

"An excellent set of courses, recommend if you take 101, don't skip 102." - Sean H., 101/102 Student

ExploringNH's trainers have extensive experience in teaching drivers how to get the most from their 4WD or AWD vehicles. We offer a variety of courses designed to help drivers learn to navigate the unique conditions of Class VI roads in New Hampshire.

Whether you're just getting started with driving off-road, or want to take your skills to the next level, we have a training opportunity for you.

Custom 1:1 Classes

Our 1:1 training are typically 3 hours long and are tailored to your specific needs. Let us know what you want to learn or improve and our trail guides will create a session just for you. Previous courses have featured navigation and mapping, recovery, spotting, introduction to off-road/4WD, advanced 4WD techniques, and more.

Limited 1:1 class times are available to schedule online. If you don't see a time that works for you, send us a message! We'll be happy to schedule another time!

Off-Highway 101

Off-highway/Off-Road 101 is designed for drivers are new to the sport or have minimal experience in driving Class VI roads. Vehicles should have true 4WD.

For 2024, our 101 and 102 courses will be a HYBRID format, with a 90-minute interactive online session followed by a full day (6-7 hour) driving portion. If you are unable to attend the online session, it will be recorded.
